About the Product
Rig Mate Pre Tied Dropper Loop Leader Rigs
Rig Mate has removed the need to tie your own dropper loop knot or buy lots of single rig set-ups. Rig Mate offers a super convenient solution... a spool of leader line with pre-tied dropper loops evenly spaced out. One look and you will agree the dropper loops are exactly the same, perfectly tied with the knots pulled tight and the line isn't chaffed.
Step 1. Cut your desired amount of loops.
Step 2. Attach your favorite tackle.
Step 3. Catch fish!
The dropper loop/paternoster rig is arguably the worlds most versatile and effective rig. Whether you are targeting fish on the surf or boat, striped bass, fluke, cod, snapper, tilefish or sea bass, casting or bottom bouncing the dropper loop hi-lo rig has you covered.
A standard hi-lo (paternoster) rig has a sinker on the bottom loop and one or more hooks attached to the loops above the sinker (droppers). Most rigs will use two droppers that stand out from the main line but you can use more (subject to your local fishing regulations).
