About This Product
The Hazli 5 lb Kids Weighted Blanket is designed to provide gentle, calming pressure that helps children fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer. Made from 100% breathable cotton and filled with hypoallergenic micro glass beads, this 36"x48" blanket delivers even weight distribution across every square inch. The removable, machine-washable cover makes cleanup effortless, while the PTPA seal of approval confirms it meets the highest standards for child safety and comfort.
Breathable Cotton That Keeps Kids Cool
Unlike synthetic alternatives that trap heat, this blanket uses 100% natural cotton that allows continuous airflow while delivering deep-touch pressure. Your child stays comfortably cool throughout the night, even in warmer months. The soft cotton exterior feels gentle against sensitive skin and is naturally hypoallergenic, making it ideal for children with allergies or sensory sensitivities.
Micro Glass Beads for Silent, Even Pressure
Each blanket is filled with ultra-fine, hypoallergenic micro glass beads that distribute weight evenly through precision-stitched pockets. Unlike plastic pellets or sand alternatives, glass beads are completely silent when your child moves, odor-free, and maintain consistent weight distribution that mimics the feeling of a warm, comforting hug all night long.
Removable Cover
The duvet-style cover zips off in seconds for easy machine washing. Keep the blanket fresh and clean without wrestling with a heavy, wet blanket in the washer.
Even Weight Distribution
Precision-stitched square pockets prevent beads from shifting to one side. Every inch of the blanket delivers the same gentle, hugging pressure for consistent comfort.
PTPA Approved
Parent Tested Parent Approved seal confirms this blanket has been independently evaluated by real parents for safety, quality, and effectiveness with children.
Helps with Sleep & Anxiety
Deep-touch pressure stimulation naturally promotes serotonin and melatonin production, helping children with anxiety, ADHD, autism, and general restlessness fall asleep faster.

Frequently Asked Questions
What age is the 5 lb blanket recommended for?
The 5 lb weighted blanket is generally recommended for children ages 3-7 who weigh between 40-70 lbs. The rule of thumb is that a weighted blanket should be approximately 10% of the child's body weight. Always consult your pediatrician before introducing a weighted blanket.
How do I wash the blanket?
Simply unzip and remove the outer cover for machine washing. The cover is machine-washable on a gentle cycle with cold water. Tumble dry on low. The inner weighted blanket can be spot-cleaned or hand-washed as needed.
Are the glass beads safe for children?
Yes. The hypoallergenic micro glass beads are non-toxic, odor-free, and securely sealed inside precision-stitched pockets. The blanket is PTPA approved and has been independently evaluated for child safety. The beads cannot escape through the stitching under normal use.
Will this blanket make my child too hot?
No. The 100% cotton construction provides natural breathability that allows air to circulate freely. Unlike polyester or fleece weighted blankets, cotton regulates temperature effectively so your child stays comfortable year-round without overheating.
Can this blanket help with ADHD or anxiety?
Many parents report significant improvements in sleep and calmness for children with ADHD, anxiety, autism, and sensory processing challenges. The deep-touch pressure stimulation mimics the feeling of being held, which naturally promotes relaxation and helps the nervous system settle for sleep.
What is the return policy?
Free returns and a 30-day money back guarantee. If the blanket does not meet your expectations, return it at no cost for a full refund.
