About the Product
4/4/0/3 *Limited release of 500 two foil 2025 Thrower Roc's for USDGC! Comes with Certificate of Authenticity. Normal F2 features possible, minimal noticed. Patent number run! All weights are scaled.
Thrower Rocs are different from the Collector Series Rocs. Each year, a small number of Rocs do not get used for Collector Series releases. Generally, this is due to minor cosmetic imperfections that do not affect the disc's performance or because we simply had extra discs leftover after all collector series Rocs were produced and sold. These discs vary in age and appearance, adding to their mystique, collectability, and appeal. We refer to them simply as “Throwers”.
Artist: Tony Diaz (2-Color Design)
Roc Mold: Rancho
Run Details: These discs are from various runs of Thrower Rocs over the years. Some have an “X” present to denote X-Parts or Factory Second. These discs have only slight plastic imperfections which do not affect the disc’s performance.
How this batch of Innova Champion Roc feels: Moderate to noticeable dome. Traditional Champion Rancho feel.
What is a Thrower Roc? Since 2001, Innova Champion Discs has supported the USDGC through annual donations of premium Rocs. Each year, a small number of these Rocs do not get used for Collector Series releases. Generally, this is due to minor cosmetic imperfections that do not affect the disc's performance. These discs, which vary in age and appearance, become Thrower Rocs. Each Thrower Roc design is unique and was produced in limited quantities exclusively for the USDGC. Each disc has been individually inspected, and registered by the United States Disc Golf Championship.
Champion is produced with hi-tech plastic that provides outstanding performance and durability. Champion discs are distinguished by a clear or pearlescent plastic that retains original flight characteristics for an extended period of time. Whether used in heavily wooded situations, or on extremely rugged courses, Champion Line plastic will continue to perform predictably and avoid damage.
